Cardiovascular diseases remain a leading cause of death in Gaza. Amidst the ongoing health crisis and rising emergency cases, the Cardiac Catheterization Unit at the Public Services Hospital plays a vital, life-saving role.
This project aims to provide urgent support to reactivate the unit, ensuring a safe and functional environment for delivering advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac services. It will help minimize external referrals and allow rapid response to critical cardiac conditions.
Delays in restoring the unit threaten patient lives and increase the risk of severe complications. This project is an urgent necessity to reinforce the healthcare system and ensure timely cardiac care.
1- Reactivation of the cardiac catheterization unit to serve emergency cases.
2- Improved survival rates and reduced mortality from acute heart conditions.
3- Less burden on other cardiac centers in Gaza.
4- Reduced need for patient referrals outside the hospital or the region.
5- Strengthened capacity of medical teams for immediate and effective care.
