The acute shortage of surgical instruments required to provide emergency services is a serious warning sign, as it means Ministry of Health facilities will be unable to offer any such services—effectively imposing a slow death sentence on emergency cases. This tragedy can be averted by supplying the necessary surgical tools, and, as is well known, any delay in securing these instruments will result in unsatisfactory and tragic outcomes.
· Establish and operate a Surgical Emergency Services department in Ministry of Health facilities. · Provide emergency services to incoming cases immediately. · Enable physicians to provide appropriate medical care based on the patient's condition. · Improve the efficiency and quality of services for emergency cases.
